Punti li qajjimt waqt diskussjoni ma' Konrad Mizzi



Dalgħodu fuq TVAM qajjimt dawn il-punti fid-diskussjoni li kelli ma' Konrad Mizzi, u għalkemm kelli ħafna inqas ħin minnu biex nitkellem, għadhom bla tweġiba:

"Jekk qed tgħid li r-rapport tal-KPMG huwa ħażin għax jimxi fuq forecasts ta' power generation u fuel costs tat-2013, aħseb u ara l-pjan tal-PL li jimxi fuq forecast tal-prezz tal-gas sat-2025!"

"Qabbad tifel tas-sekondarja li ħa jagħmel l-O Levels ħa jaħdimlek li biex tank b'diametru ta' 23m jesa 30,000 metru kubu ta' gas kif qed tgħid int, irid ikun għoli mal-100m...30 sular. Tank ta' dak l-għoli b'bażi daqshekk żgħira strutturalment jikkollassa."

"Il-prezz ta' dil-proposta hija power-station ġdida li m'għandniex bżonna, u monopolju tal-privat fuq 40% tal-enerġija ta' pajjiżna għal 25 sena sħaħ. U r-rapport tal-KPMG jikkonferma li dan ħa jwassal għal kontijiet ogħla."

    Thanks for your argumentative thinking here..

    But what is the point if you do not publish the answers you received for the above statements ?
    All this is pointless if the answers for your arguments are not posted. How can we prove your arguments right or wrong?
    Personally your effort goes to loss, because this makes me think that Dr. Mizzi gave you a well deserved comeback, and checked out all your points, and yourself is ashamed of posting them out.

    Hawnhekk tohrog id-differenza bejn l-ewroxettici laburisti ta Muscat fejn ma humiex lesti jistennew process Ewropew li joffri beneficji ahjar 'in the long term'. Ghal- Laburisti il-mentalita tal-partnership ghadha hemm ghax fl-aktar proposta fundamentali(ghalihom) insew idahlu l-Ewropa.

Who's the real monster?

I usually hate comparisons, but some very different reactions from the 'great unthinking' rabble do merit some analysis. In May this year, the notorious dog Star was found buried alive . A prima facie , this looked liked the most horrific case of animal cruelty, and is still considered so by some. The perpetrator was described by the sensitive and caring animal-lovers as a villain, a heartless monster, deserving of death, stoning, or even to be 'buried alive in the same manner'. The Church and its riches

The above pictures has lately been doing rounds on facebook. Posted comments refer to injustice, hypocrisy, and of the Church not practising what it preaches. It seems it has become a common trend to blame the Church for everything under the sun. Hitting at the Church is the new way of looking cool. But before joining the bandwagon of shares, likes and comments, let me try to analyze the points this photo is trying to make. The first one: the Church is immensely rich. Well, it could be, but what do most of these riches constitute? Most of the Church's "riches" are fixed immovable assets, of which most are important human heritage. They can practically never be sold.
