Mitna ghalxejn?

I was in the process of writing an article on the historical distortions and hogwash arguments being brought up by the campaign advocating for the removal of the George Cross from the Maltese Flag. Luckily, someone has done it before me and explained it perfectly. Where did the evidence disappear?

Today in court during the case against Silvio Zammit, who stands accused of trading in influence to bring about changes in the EU's Tobacco Directive, the former Police Commissioner John Rizzo made a shocking revelation . Mr Rizzo said that, "together with his investigative team, it was decided that there was enough evidence to arraign Mr Dalli. The case was presented to the Attorney General, who was of the same view." At this point questions need to be asked, and fast. How did the new Commissioner - the one who signed all Labour candidates' declarations of election expenses, the one who broke the law to cover up for the Minister who appointed him, the one who refuses to answer legitimate questions by the press - decide on his appointment that " there is not enough proof for a criminal case against former Health Commissioner John Dalli " when his predecessor had all the evidence lined up to arraign him in court?
